Home extension
A multi-level residential extension designed to optimize indoor-outdoor living and improve site accessibility.
On the ground floor level, an open-plan expansion of the kitchen and dining areas, stepping out onto a new terrace with direct views of the backyard. Second level, addition of a private balcony, creating an elevated outdoor extension of the upper floor. Basement level, introduction of a basement parking space, made easily accessible via a newly constructed ramp at the rear of the property.

Extension and interior transformation
This project involved the comprehensive conversion of an existing structure into a modern multi-unit residential apartment building. The scope was executed in three strategic phases.
Phase one is site Preparation. Selective demolition of a single-story rear extension to optimize the building footprint. Phase two is a structural Expansion. Construction of a new multi-story addition to increase total square footage and unit capacity. And, phase three was an interior Transformation. A complete gut renovation and reconfiguration of the original building, integrating modern systems and finishes to create a cohesive residential complex.

Home reconstruction and extension
This project involved the complete reconstruction of an existing residence, a decision necessitated by severe underlying structural issues in the original building. A primary objective of the design was to meticulously preserve the home’s original front elevation, maintaining its historical character and scale within the neighbourhood. However, the rebuild provided an opportunity for strategic modern enhancements. At the rear of the small footprint, the living area was extended to create a more spacious, contemporary interior that flows seamlessly onto a newly constructed terrace. On the upper level, the redesign introduces a new second-floor balcony, accessible directly from the bedrooms.
